In late September, 2008, Chancellor Linda P. Brady appointed members to the Strategic Planning Committee, chaired by faculty member Rebecca G. Adams. This committee drew on a document the PPC developed during Summer 2008, "A Bridge between UNCG Today and UNCG Tomorrow" (July 31, 2008) to begin the development of the UNCG Plan 2009-2014. Chancellor Brady asked the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) to develop "a value-driven, outcome-based transformative plan." At the same time, a subcommittee of the SPC developed the UNCT Phase II response, parts of which were submitted to the UNC General Administration on December 1 and December 15, 2008, and January 15, 2009.
